This is a real story from my Last organization where I met a leader. The characteristics and the way of working of the personality brings energy in everyone in his team and without making maximum effort he and his team easily fulfill their task and available to help any other team as well.
I was very curious to know the reason behind the success of his team and his ever dynamic personality which fills his team with full of zeal.
Fortunately I got a chance to meet him during a Table tennis match in office and he was my partner. Before game starts he meet me and told me the following points:
- We are here to give our best in every possible manner, play your natural game.
- We both are in one team so share your strategy and we should collaborate our strategy to make it one combined strategy against opponent.
- Be positive and ethically right, show sportsman spirit and see the difference.
I obey him and nod my head in approval and game starts, we know each other’s strategy well and our combined effort was giving result. Whenever we are few point down, he just used to say” don’t worry, check your action else we are doing great.
We won the match but throughout the match, a sense of mutual understanding, respect for each other, having common goals, confidence in each other and fearless approach let us win that match.
I was thinking I got my answers as why his team is doing extremely well and all are happy there
