Question
Constitutional Convention Project - 5 pts
(Will be in the Test/Project category of the Grade Book)
As you know, the Constitutional Convention took many compromises in order to be agreed upon and ratified by enough states to become our official government that is still in place over 233 years later. States sacrificed many of their original desires on certain topics in order to gain on another topic.
General Instructions:
For your project, you will identify at least 2 controversies from the original Constitutional Convention and create a project that details the pros and cons for both sides of EACH controversy as well as the compromise. After addressing at least 2 controversies, you will be answering the essential question for EACH controversy: Were the compromises that led to the ratification and adoption of the Constitution justifiable? Keep in mind what states had to give up or what they gained in creating the compromises. If you would like to earn a 5 on this project, you will need a 3rd controversy.
**In order to pass, you must meet expectations on all criteria of this project.**

Answer the essential question (use evidence to back up your claim) Evidence can come from your convention pre-work, notes from class/discussions from class, or your own research.
