You’re only young once. Consider movies like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, and Accepted. These movies all discuss breaking out from the norm and being a little wild. If you had one day that you weren’t supposed to have to do whatever you wanted, what would you do?
Imagine that Fayetteville arkansas is located close to a booming metropolis like Chicago, Dallas, New York, LA, etc. You decide that you just need a mental health break. Answer the following:
First, how would you convince your obligations (work, school, practice, etc.) that you are unable to fulfill them for that day only? Are you sick? Death in the family? Accident?
Next, pick 3-4 leisure activities that you would not normally engage in. These activities need to be outside the box. Sitting at home and watching movies is not an option. These activities need to take place at a minimum of 3 separate locations.
Additionally, consider and answer the following questions:
What is it about these activities that make you want to participate?
Would you engage in purple leisure activities? Why or why not?
Why do you not normally participate in activities like this?
This lab is meant to spark your creativity. Feel free to be outlandish and ridiculous. It will be rewarded.
