Team Communication Observation
As part of this group paper, we need to observe a group, and then write an analysis of the group dynamics. The group that we choose was WhatCulture Gaming’s podcasts (specifically the podcasts). A playlist of their videos can be found here https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjej_Q1rDIircCqKFB0ADad4Ywrfv0nqU The specific content doesn’t matter, just how the members interact with each other and the group as a whole. I’d recommend watching at least 15 minutes of two different videos to get a good feel for the group, including a link to the videos that you viewed.
I’ve attached three files. The paper requirements are the prompt that was initially given to us. Read it to understand the assignment, then write about 2.5 pages each for the two highlighted sections (“What does the group do well?” and “What does the group still need to work on?”). For each section, use one scholarly source (the videos aren’t the sources for these).
Another file is our current working draft. The parts that need to be written for these are highlighted in yellow and are labeled [My Section]. Be sure to look over the entirety of the current draft, particularly the contributions from Member 4, to familiarize yourself and prevent any overlap in topics.
Lastly, I attached a file listing various concepts that we’ve been using for this course. For both parts 3 and four, use one or more group communication principles mentioned in the file, avoiding anything too similar to what Member 4 had already written about. The source for both parts should relate to the group communication principles used for that section.
