Federalist/Antifederalist Paper

Student will use the research from last week (and do more if necessary) to write a 1 ½ – 2 page paper about the Federalist or Antifederalist the student selected and researched last week.
When researching your person be sure to type their name and put federalist or antifederalist into the search bar so you get results specifically about their beliefs on the new Constitution.
The paper must include basic biographical information such as name, state, political experience, etc. BUT most importantly it must focus on this person’s opinion on the new Constitution written in 1787. Did they favor it (federalist) or oppose it (antifederalist) and be sure to explain why or why not. You can focus on key points of contention like the Bill of Rights, power of president, power of the judicial branch, failures of the Articles of Confederation, etc
Paper must be written in MLA format – double spaced, 12 pt font, Times New Roman.
